Household cleaners can be toxic on many different levels. Many are strongly corrosive to skin and metal.  Others contain poisons such as petroleum distillates, glycols, and mildewcides.  Never mix cleaners as this can cause a reaction.  Pack cleaners for transport upright in a cardboard box or plastic tote and bring to Wild Cat Solid Waste District.  Please do not put materials in a garbage bag as they have a tendency to tip over and spill during transport. This also poses a hazard to workers as all materials get hand sorted and there is no way to tell what chemicals may have mixed.
